the 26th!

26 is an important number at the hammer household!

june 26th is dan's birthday
april 26th is our wedding anniversary
august 26th is Cal's birthday (also in labor for 26 hours! whew!)

anywho... i took some pictures to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and Cal's 8 month birthday! hope you like, they were quite the challenge!

Where has the time gone?!?! Sweet Cal is already 6 months!

He is always moving, but loves to cuddle!

He is starting to wave and just loves Lola!

He has a natural mohawk and an adorable mini-dimple inside a dimple!

He is such a bundle of engery and the love of my life!

sometimes the ONLY thing that makes Caleb happy is having a remote in his hand! guess some things never change :) i figured this out at around 4 this morning! ahhh!

mmmm....food!

Caleb has been eating food for about a month now! Loved the rice cereal and now loves pears, sweet potatoes, and bananas (his favorite!). As soon as he takes a bite, he is opening his mouth for more! Daddy and I sing "Yummy, Yummy, I've got sweet potatoes in my tummy!" when he eats and he laughs and laughs! Here is my sweet baby eating rice cereal for the first time. Notice, not much made it in....

New Year Resolutions...

so i have a few resolutions this year but i'll only share one with you... each month, i will pick a project (crafty, organizational, etc) each month and complete it by the end of the month, then post it here. january's project will be to knit a scarf. deeanna and i took lessons way back in dec 2008 and i, sadly, never completed my scarf. so i vow to have a scarf completed by january 31st! dan will be in pittsburgh for a week at the end of january and i can make it then (that way i will be spared all the old lady jokes!).
